After entering LPL 11 I decided to retire from the competition. As all entrants will know it is quite a lot of work and commitment.
LPL 12 passed me by, then I saw threads on the possibility of LPL 13 and what amounted to a call for support which I decided to answer and threw my hat into the ring.
As a result of this, there really was no theme to my subsequent entries and many that I had planned never made it. I simply looked at painted figures that I had not had time to photograph – not many – and just started, half-finished or prepped and primed figures – quite a lot!
Some groups I had, I shamelessly split as there were enough for two rounds. The Prussian Jagers from round 2 were meant to also be Prussian VSF later, but I ran out of time to paint the character figures, so they just appeared mob-handed. The New Orleans Greys in round 10 are “missing” the standard-bearer as I didn’t have time to do his flag.
I had some problems with lights for my photos, then the camera itself. However, I’m quite pleased with my entries and if there is another LPL will try to enter again.

And the rest...

Lovely figures 8)

Very nice, love those north Star jägers

Gorgeous stuff as always, Orctrader. I too really like those Jaegers. But also those North Star Victorian civilian types. I've got that set (the first batch, in your third pic), though I forget what the range is called. The lady with the two pistols is an LPL veteran now, as she was in one of my teams last year.

That’s a fabulous body of work, Malcolm 8)
I’m torn between the female samurai and the North Star Steampunk types as my favourites.

10 little masterpieces - absolutely brilliant. Loving those extra little flourishes on the clothes that really set them off
-
They are not as colorful as the Samurai but I rather liked the collection of characterful mad scientists.

I hope you do, I always like seeing the crisp paintwork on your entries. Excellent output this year :)

Thanks everyone. Glad you like them. :)

Superb--your work is always very inspirational.

Nothing shameless about making LPL match up with what you were painting, anyway! Great stuff (as usual)...
