I'm thinking of a wrecked sci-fi escape pod lodged in some ancient ruins.

Outside of the escape pod could the the ejected occupants...... deceased to add atmosphere?

Alfrik, usually the deceased add to the atmosphere but not in a pleasant way.

Leadfoo, of course! Mission objective is to rescue the occuants of the life pod....... only to arrive, through opposition to discover.... their not only to late but never would have arrived soon enough!
