The Vikings are coming!!!
The black Dragon ship, ‘Long Serpent’ has been seen entering the estuary, heading remorselessly toward the seaside village of Kleethorpe. Leading this band of cutthroats is none other than the great Jarl Putrid son of Putrid. With him is his Champion Thorkel the Tall and his Flagman. Standing at the prow of the long ship, frothing at the mouth, is the maniacal Bok the Berserker.
Rushing swiftly from his Great Hall the local Saxon Lord and his men head for Kleethorpe, the knowledge that his strongbox of treasures is hidden therein giving wings to his feet.
Unbeknownst to the Vikings Kleethorpe has treasure within it beyond the dreams of the most avaricious of Norse Jarls!!!

An arrow hits the Viking bowman and downs him, Bada Boggweede axes down Thorkell the Tall, who’d slipped in a pile of goat shit, and his Flagman met a similar fate at the hands of Bada’s trusty spearman. A disaster for the raiders, round one to the Saxons!
