Planning, reading, painting and modelling to play some Chain of Command for the Malaya campaign. In between becoming distracted with a plastic IS-2, I managed to finish up some jump-off points for my Japanese troops.

Should be fun..

Very nice work Doug.
Colours really pop.
Did you make the wire reel?
-
Hi TT, no, I confess it came as part of a grab bag of stowage etc from https://www.anyscalemodels.com/ (https://www.anyscalemodels.com/)
They have a ton of useful stuff, and are very cheap. There are a few tiny air-bubbles on the crates, but the reel is bubble free on the one I got.

A nice mix up of the norm for JOPs.

Nicely done.

Thanks all. I guess the trick is to make them distinctive enough so you notice them, but not so much that they look out of place. I could equally use markers, but then that spoils the illusion.
There's also a piece of the Christmas tree ended up in there.. :)

Doug, do you have a link for the wire reel? I can't find it on their list. :( :(
