Title: 28mm Roman Sudis (sharpened stakes)
Post by: wmyers on January 12, 2020, 08:01:15 AM
I purchased a lot of Foundry EIR Romans (among others, including two larger bags of Ral Partha Greeks) and the seller was kind enough to put a LOT of extras in, including a whole bunch of bags of 28mm sudis in metal.

I’m not sure who would have made them.  Each is several inches long (maybe 4, I haven’t measured), the stakes are driven into the ground and tied together.

Any ideas on the make?

Sorry about the lack of pictures!  And thank you, in advance!

Now, what if you'd like to use them in the alternative, caltrop-like configuration?
