Coming together pretty good, I think.
Its a small slaver/bad guy abode, atop asmall rocky outcrop. Whole thing is just 6x12, and it'll hold 20+ defenders.
Now to add spackle and some decorative dorrways and arches. Gonna add some sparse vegetation so it'll be good for more than just desert gaming.
Suggestions?

Great idea,looks the business :)

Oh, I like the look of your stronghold alot.
Look forward to seeing it finished.

It looks great 8)
The only thing I would say (and I don't mean to be deliberately negative) is that I would buy some cork bark and use that on the rocky faces instead of carving the foam with a knife/hotwire. You will get a much more 'realistic' look.
Otherwise is't a fab job :)

That’s a great piece of work, Smokey! :-* You’re mighty handy at scratch building nifty buildings and things. I especially like how the building conforms to the rocky outcrop. Very clever.

Awesome looking work.
I've attached a pic of the Bomba at Bagamoyo in Tanzania from when I was there in the '90's.
A small cluster of grass huts, lean-to's and fenced of stockades at the base of the hill is all I could suggest to add.

I always enjoy seeing these stronghold builds . This one would suggest the North West Frontier of India to me , and the new plastic figures from the Perry’s would make a good garrison for it.

Thanks guys.
1: just bought rocky outcropping molds for plaster, will make rock base look much better!
2: Yes, kinda NW Frontierish, but the short mountain, and the angled architexture hopefully is Africa enough to be a convincing The Sword in Africa piece.
3:using cheap Dolluh Tred foamboard. paper sides peel right off, making it easy to scribe in exposed brick with black ball point
