Wowee! Stunning paintwork, Michael. And lovely figures. Can’t wait for mine to arrive :)

So well done.

My set has just arrived and I managed to quickly look through it while the baby had its nap.
It’s pretty awesome. I only got the plastic pledge and there are some bent swords and some rather flat faces, but the overall poses, details and casting is very, very good!
What surprised me was the size. They are rather small. If I wasn’t fooled by the random sample I took, these should fit well with Freebooter‘s Fate, Oldhammer and most historical/plastic sets I own.
I think that’s a big plus and makes the models really well suited for cloak and dagger skirmish.
One thing that also surprised me: I had thought there were more fantastic elements...i vaguely remember a dragon/lindwurm, but cannot find it in my pledge.
Only fantastic pieces: golem, werewolf, succubus, Beelzebub and some Hollywood cameos.

Very nice indeed :-*

Beautiful figures, beautifully sculpted. I await mine !
-
Superb. Seems I'm not alone in eagerly awaiting mine ;)

They are lovely figures and beautifully painted but........
Is it my eyesight or are the two figures on the right much bigger than the two on the left?

I’d say they are just stood more upright, the other two are all about the footwork...
Lovely figures and brushwork, but who makes them?

They are from the Kickstarter Anno Domini 1666, by Wargamer Games Studio. They are just beginning to ship the pledges outside of Poland.

Good to know its coming in April - will give my kids and I something to play together over Easter.
-
Yep, just the plan around here, too.

...one of them is Porthos and is meant to be bigger than the others. The other is assumedly a different pose that makes him seem larger.

Got my package last week, have been busy ogling and admiring the castings. Just started reading the rules in time to note social isolation is 'in' here. Got a start on some painting and a review of some of the factions as well.

My All-in Plastic Kickstarter package arrived yesterday ! Quite a lot of boxes - wonderful figures, great artwork.
-
Got to do a solo walk through of the "Death in the Tavern " scenario today. This is a great game.
-
I am so glad to hear the game plays well! I went in for the figures - the rules are a nice bonus, it sounds like.
-Michael
-
Look here for a first play through, with a few errors, I am sure.

It was fun solo, so with an opponent....sigh...

How do these figures compare to other 28mm figures.

Im waiting on this one to arrive at retail

In what sense ? Size ? Sculpting ?
-
Mine arrived today. Good lord what an intimidatingly large box! :o lol
-
How do these figures compare to other 28mm figures.
They are closer to true scale than heroic and they are a little taller than Hassle Free and Artizan, maybe as tall as Pulp Figures but thinner.
They are just about perfect except the faces are hard to paint because they are not exaggerated in size.
These are fantastic minis. :-)
-
But chock full o'goodness! ;)
-
Interesting looking game mechanics, very short and bloody game though.

Mine arrived finally in Western Australia, slow boat from Poland. Marvellous figures. very colourful package, now to kick back with the rules and worked out how to play.
-
Great work on these. I keep looking at mine and backing away for a while ;)
-
Mine did arrive two or three weeks back, and they are indeed lovely. Now that the spring term is over, I may have an opportunity to start painting again.

My 25 yrs. old twin son and daughter had a run-through (pardon the pun) last weekend with the first scenario, and we will be taking another stab at the game (sorry, couldn't help myself) this Sunday. Good game mechanics, great fun.

There's a YouTube on the first scenario by the rule author, explains it in depth step-by-step

Last weekend we did another two games, a replay of the first scenario (with me taking the Poles and my 25 yrs. old son taking the French); and my son and daughter playing the second scenario. It looked like I was going to win the first scenario (having dispatched/driven off all but one of the French for a loss of two of my Poles) when, with only 1 alarm token left to the game, my son had Aramis take a leap off the table and land upon and pick up the purloined letter just as the game ended. Great fun.
