Title: South East Asian Houses and Palafito Subsitutes?

I've been drawn in by 1998 miniatures fab range of mini's for Cuba, the Phillipines and Puerto Rico.

My question is this, given that the 19898 miniatures South East Asian Houses and Palafito resin's are out of stock and don't seem like they will be back in stock soon, does anyone else make building that would suit? Or a close approximation that might be converted?

Printable Scenery has  file for Caribbean Shack that might suit.

If you're willing to go with MDF, I'd recommend:

With a little extra work and added teddy bear fur, they look pretty decent on the table.

They are really nice but I was really wanting resins as I don't have much time to tart up mdf buildings at the mo'.
