2ft gauge trench railway Simplex 40hp locomotive
designed for TT gauge 12mm rails close enough for 28mm

Well done and quite out of the ordinary. Will you do a strip-down version too, or, does it already have an interior?

It's hollow. I couldn't find a drawing of the stripped down version, just photos.

There was an episode of salvage squad were they restored an armoured simplex, good watch if you can find it.

Obviously not steam-driven (and probably with good reason). Were they petrol-engined?

Yep, petrol. There were steam versions, I think they were repurposed industrial locos
