Title: Back on the planned course: Miniatures from the Barons' war Kickstarter
Post by: Olofeus on March 10, 2020, 06:57:43 PM: Now that I have painted two forces for Anno Domini 1666, it's time to paint stuff I've actually planned to paint.

I'm going to play Outremer: Faith and Blood until my collection of painted miniatures is big enough for Lion Rampant.

I haven't painted 28mm horses (clothed or not) in ages. Also freehanding anything is a think that I need to learn once again. I can't remember when I last did something like this.

@TheMarquis: I use Vallejo Model colours. The base is painted with Dark Sand and then cover the base with two layers of sand, loose foliage, some static grass and cork chips.

This time the henchmen were the nicest part to paint. The sculpted expressions on their faces were superb. I was just colouring.
