Title: 28mm fur with microfibre?
Post by: Ahistorian on March 23, 2020, 11:56:58 AM
Has anyone tried using microfibre (or towelling, I suppose) to make 28mm fur? I thought of it going to sleep last night when I was mulling how to efficiently convert a load of GW wood elves into something more first-age-y.

My thinking is that towelling makes 28mm thatch, and microfibre does the same thing in 15mm, so presumably a ragged piece of microfibre and some PVA would be a quick way of furring-up a 28mm miniature's cloak/shoulders...

Sounds interesting. Give it a go and post the results.

This is my plan once I find my microfibre and a (potentially) disposable figure... with lockdown and all my missus' stuff in the flat, it's hard to either find existing things or their replacements!
