During the recent quarantine, I have been busy painting landsknechts for my growing renaissance armies. This weekend however I got distracted. Many years ago, I bought and painted three of Kingmakers Hussite warwagons because I relly liked the models. I never really found any use for them, as I did not fancy painting the many more need for a Hussite army. Recently I have started playing DBA and I realized that Hussite only need five warwagons in this game. So it was down to the basement to work on converting some Warbases wagon into two warwagons. The idea is that these will be a bit more ragtag than the Kingmakers ones so I have deliberately painted the markings a bit sloppier. I think the trick work really well.
The wagon are made from balsawood and matchsticks and the miniatures are a mix og Perry and Fire Forge kit bashing and Kingmaker.

Together with my three Kingmaker warwagon they make I fine battleline.

Thanks for the kind words. There seems to be a great interest out there for the Hussite.
I look forward to trying them out on the board maybe later today.

Do not tempt my Breazer. The Kingmaker late medieval range is very cool and I have often wanted to give in and by a whole bunch of warwagons (they have some nice deals) and infantry. The only thing holding me back is that I have yet to find a set of rules that make Hussite a fun and realistic army to play.
I did paint a couple of their infantry and pavise so I will post them here instead.

How do you want the rules to portray/simulate Warwagons/Wagon Tabors?
Just fun or 'realistic'?
If just fun them WAB is great. If 'realistic' or thereabouts you're looking at a set like Revenge.

Hello,
Excellent project !! And very nice painting !!!

I am affraid I want both :D but if i have to chose I would go for realistic.
I am not familiar with Revenge, but found something on Boardgamegeek from 1992 from The Emperor's Press. Is that the one you are refering to?

Yep, you've gt it. It can be a bit laborious but it does have a really good feel for Late Medieval warfare.
I think you might struggle to find a really fun 'simulation' type rule set.

Good looking infantry!

They look fantastic. The period's still a bit of a closed book to me, but I'm slowly getting better with the Late Middle Ages. Are these figures the same ones that 1st Corps sell nowadays?

Yes, 1st Corps took over the range several years ago,
