.....and thanks to a global pandemic they are finally finished lol
The Evzones Mountain Troops are by Great Escape Games, and beautiful.
Resistance fighters or local ruffians, are Foundry.
Tank is 1st Corp and 1/48 scale, but it is still tiny, and the figures are big and chunky so it looks the right scale.
Painting by Russ a mate of mine, and stunning detail.
I’ve painted the tank! (Big deal) and done the basing on it all.
Just working on an Italian force to take them on..
-
Pictures are crap!
I’ll try again,
-
And again..
-
They look very good - Well done :-*
-
Well like I said, most of the work by my mate Russ! lol
-
Thanks anyhow!
Interesting army to use.
I’m using it in Bolt Action and the Evzones are regulars with rifles, but with VB mortars and tough fighter rules.
-
They look so much better based, glad your happy with them 🖒
-
Very happy with them, just got to start winning some games with them now lol
I should also mention Stuart and the Great Escape crew, superb service.
Nothing too much trouble, thanks.

I’ve been working on some ‘Greek’ scenery to go with the army and whilst waiting for the Italian forces I’m going to paint up to pit against them.
The farm building is by Empires At War, and very reasonable prices and excellent service too. The rocky bits, grape vines, and Orthodox Church are scratch built. Even got the daughter (who’s trapped back at home from uni) too help out.

Close up of the church.

upside down but the small path is a nice touch
cracking work :-* :-* :-*

Now that’s weird?
When I first posted it this afternoon it was the right way up?
