I’m after some snotlings for my 28mm Forest Goblin force, and wondered if any body makes 15mm forest goblins? As these may work?
Or perhaps you guys can come up with an alternative?
Pygmies perhaps, as some sort of subject race?
I would really like the Forest goblin theme, feathers etc.
Original snotlings are silly money on eBay.

They might not be small enough, but the Splintered Light lesser goblins (http://www.splinteredlightminis.com/legoarandun.html) were (I think) originally designed as 18mm goblins. They might be more like Warhammer lesser goblins (if you remember them) than the snotlings that succeeded them:

They ride foxes, bats and weasels, which might add to the foresty feel:

No, that makes sense. The Splintered Light ones are half "high tech" with their chainmail and half primitive (the bare-chested, wild-haired ones).
You might have some luck with 10/12mm trolls, like these ones from Kallistra (https://www.kallistra.co.uk/?page=19#1orc):

They're 12 for six quid, but the poses are limited.
You could mix them up, though, with these 15mm trolls from Magister Militum:

My ideas are evolving as I check this thread, they need to be small, and threatening plus a bit primitive looking.
I’ve been looking at these from Copplestone, as I’ve always loved his work.

I would suggest you check out the Demonworld goblins from RPE Miniatures. They have some cracking stuff that would work.

There is some great figures in that lot, I particularly like the Goblin Mosquito Rider.

Just a quick nod, and thank you to,
Paul at Ral Partha Europe Ltd for sending me a sample of the above, and I may get one of those Picts samples of Nick at North Star.
Just to say thanks to these guys, it’s only going to be a small order, but they’ve still helped me out.

Langley models also do a pack of 'snotty' goblins in 28mm which look like they would fit in pretty well. Lovely work on the forest goblins so far :)

I used Army Painter Goblin Green spray can to undercoat the whole figure.
Then just normal acrylics to block in the basic colours.
Give the whole model a heavy coat of strong tone, to get in all the nooks and crannies.
Then highlight back up again with the original colours.
With the flesh already base coated green, all I had to do was highlight the green.

Some spear or halberdiers finished, plus a Copplestone Pict figure as a sample snotling type figure?

I’m looking for ideas on my Chief and a shaman?
As this is only a skirmish size force, say 40 figures, I don’t think anything too elaborate for the chief. He’s currently on foot, but in WoE I have the option to put him in a chariot?
Ideas?
