Just a minor point. The original German translates as 'Contemptibly little army' where the 'contemptible' refers to its size rather than the 'army' per se. It didn't matter as far as the reaction to the quote was concerned ;-)

Thank You. Yes, I finally settled on a more plan grey instead of the greenish toned variant. Using the Vallejo slate grey triad.
Indeed, they have been somewhat of an inspiration :) Colors flying, bugler sounding the advance towards glory.
