Caribou - it is a woody word.
...and the last thing you want is a Caribou on the lawn, nibbling the croquet hoops! :o
Idle: Caribou.
Chapman: Splendid word!
Idle: No, dear, nibbling the hoops.
(Chapman fires a shotgun)
Chapman (with satisfaction): Caribou -- gorn... 'Intercourse.'
Idle: Later, dear.

You making Santa's Sleigh?
;D

Did have some luck, years ago, with one of those tubs of play animals.
You know the ones going inexpensively at places like Woolworth's.
Might have some joy in Poundland, B&M Bargains, The Range etc.
I only wanted the head, to place over a Western Gunfight saloon bar.
The rest of the pack I gave away to my nieces, but that was a long time ago.

Thanks for the suggestions chaps :)
That Pulp Miniatures one looks ideal but at 13 quid a pop that’s a no go :?

Wasn't there a Scottish firm made stuff like that, along with Inuit hunters etc?
Bear's Den Miniatures perhaps.
Not sure if they are still around, and if they are not certain of the memory

Badger games bought up atleast some of the range - they have released the Inuit figures

Steve Barber used to have a stone-age range of hunters and berry-pickers, fairly sure they had some kind of stags for hunting. Again this was years ago so cannot even remember the name of the range now.

Check out Preiser O scale railroad sets as well as other model railroad brands - though might be smaller than you want (1:48 scale). Should come painted but will be a bit pricey. Not sure if they have those specific animals.
