Im half Mexican, and cant pronounce the fake hurricane that is now "battering the coast" (im in the jacuzzi, 180 feet from beach, and no wind or rain, and we are at ground zero)
So...I built this

and one more pic, me being defiant during fake hurricane hoax
-
lol, take advantage of it while you can.

Is that railroad track stripped of its rails being used as fencing?
Looks good. All is good as long as you are not in the eye of the storm!? :D
Boot camped in Florida ages ago - didn't have a hurricane but I remember it rained so hard a standard metal bucket (about a 3 gallon capacity) would have filled up in about one second. Prepped for hurricane in Charleston, SC that never happened by running our ship up river. More 'fun' experience in Norfolk where we got hit pretty good by the wind and rain and had a genuine 'mutiny'. Saw pelagic jelly fish the size of a large doughboy pool by the thousands if not the tens of thousands washed in by the storm.

Another great looking build Smokey!!!!!
-
Nice work, Smokey! I bet if they held a tennis tournament during a hurricane you would be crowned champion!
-
great build..is that a Johnathon E. shirt from Rollerball?
-
Good job I think this is my favourite one of your builds.
-
Nice & run down looking. The building, not the human, though...
-
I love the fact you built it during the “storm”. Quick work, and great result. What did you use for the thatching please?
And yes, definitely J’s shirt from Rollerball. The first home grown “wargame” I made was based around Rollerball.....class film!

Thanx Digits.

Are you sure there isn't a hurricane- it looks like you have been blown sideways. :)

I was going to say that. The non-hurricane seems to have managed to at least knock Smokey over on to his side. :)

First, Fifteen, lol, yes, thats n scale track that is for balcony rail on second floor of unseen building.
Thatching was cheap craft fur, in strips, spray painted dark brown camo, then dusted camo tan spray, then drybrushed.
Yes, Rollerball is my favorite movie ever, and by pure luck, my first professor at U of Arkansas law WROTE it!!! (Prof. Harrison, he also wrote Mountains of the Moon)
Thats a dry fit I have made, for tennis tournaments (for singles. in mixed doubles, Erica and I wear orange Ork bloodbowl shirts we designed. Once in a while, if we are drinking during a tourney, she wears the Rollerball number 9 shirt I made her. Hee hee. get it? )
Thanks guys, if y'all like it, its good!
