Lady Rathbone's Raiders Special!
These gals didn't make the Dangerous Dames Kickstarter but you can still get ahold of them. This month, August 2020, they will go out free with any and all Pulp Figures orders of 4 or more sets. All regular deals still apply. Limit 1 per customer. Shipping begins August 15th.
You don't need to do anything special to get them. Just place your order for 4 or more packs as per usual and La

Will this set be avilable for regular purchase later on or is this a "now or never" situation ?
-
I’d love them to complete my DD set but I really don’t need an extra 4 sets of anything just now - I’m overwhelmed with stuff to paint. So, with regret, I’ll have to pass. :(

It will be released later. This is just a special New Release offer for August.

Those are lovely, I especially like the top right lady with her goggles pushed up in a business-like way!
Alas, I haven't even begun to clean and prime the entire Dangerous Dames KS haul, nevermind paint that awesome lot, and the wedding at the end of the month means I really, really can't stretch the gaming budget to enough of a Pulp Figures haul to justify the "freebie" pack. I'll have to wait until they're in regular circulation and my poor smoking, cratered bank account has recovered from the wedding.
You've had a busy year, Bob, with the KS, these figures, the revamped cavepersons, and much else!

Lovely - I need some better gender balance in my pulp to sci-fi conversions project. Presumably North Star will get them eventually?
-
Was planning a largish (10 pack) order anyway, so off I go to the website!

Yes. The masters should be sent to Nick in September.

Also, Bob is an evil genius with mesmerist powers that makes me buy things. I suspect he has a massive cavern lair in Canada, under a mountain shaped like a beaver.

under a mountain shaped like a beaver.
Well, he does live in British Columbia...

Lovely work as always Bob.
Had you thought of a minor tweak for the European master's?
Nothing drastic just something as simple as tweaking the Mauser to a C96 carbine? Rather than the broom handle version?

Awesome! :-*

Just taking a look now at the C96 Carbine. The one in the picture is a regular broomhandle mauser with the additional stock. It might be an interesting modification if I have the time. I'd have to lengthen the barrel and add the forward wooden grip.
-
It's a nice alternative to and a contemporary of the Bergmann.
Whislt your musing. Maybe tweak the .303 into a De lilse carbine. ;)
You know I'm not trying to teach Granny how to suck eggs. I just think these are weapons that'll really pop with your style of sculpting.
Mark.

Underway now::

Excellent :)

I MUST have this pack, even more so with the weapon conversion. :)
Unfortunately, much as I'd love to get the free pack and earlier, I'll have to wait. :-[ The risk of "additional charges" of VAT and admin costs are now too great when ordering from US\Canada in the UK. >:(

Excellent!

Man, Mark's suggestion was really on-point. The proportions of the carbine work so much better with that pose.
-
I’ve prepared the new catalog pic for PHP-26 Lady Rathbone’s Raiders.
-
Fantastic! As always

Love the pose on the bottom right - very unique!

Bottom right and top left: LRDDG. Long Range Desert Dames Group. The not quite so rugged, but still pretty tough, daughters of the desert.
-
Just got my shipping notice - this order is going to have lots of Puply coolness and Lady Rathbone's crew will just be the icing on that cake. Much anticipation! :D

My Pulp goodness arrived Saturday, and I spent some time yesterday cleaning and basing. New pulp ladies (two different sets), Foreign Legion, Chinese civilians and ladies, and some cool weapons sets. I find that of all the figures I get, the ones from Bob Murch and Marc Copplestone are the ones that seem to scream 'paint me!' the loudest.
