Hello fellow LAFers
I placed an order with Fenris to the tune of £50 on 1st July and still haven’t received my order despite 3 polite reminders via email.
I know COVID and it states on the site 28 days is the average wait for orders but we’re almost double that so I’m wondering if anyone has either had the same issue of heard anything at all?
Thanks
Kev

Well this is up today
https://fenrisgames.com/news/emerging-from-the-mere
so I guess sort of they are if thats the Fenris you mean
-
Well that explains a lot
What a coincidence that it went up today...I shall remain patient and let him get his orders up and running in that case.
Thanks for the quick reply

My January 31st order is still "Awaiting Processing".
But I'm not hasty. Hrum.
-
I received my February order just 3 weeks ago. :)
-
I had a reply assuring me all systems are go and all orders are being processed as quickly as possible

He's had a bit of a crap year; he was halfway through moving the workshop (I think they're demolishing the building he's had for years) when things went sideways and he ended up stuck with two sets of expenses, no way to get at half the equipment which was the other end of the country and was struggling to get raw materials at one point too.
He's now finished moving and is back working through the orders again.
If you need more frequent updates, he's active on Twitter.

First new figure out - Cthulhu Nyarlathotep (https://fenrisgames.com/shop#!/FGCW08-Nyarlathotep/p/37680456)
Going by the news here (https://www.thewargameswebsite.com/news-from-fenris-games-8/) it's a rerelease with new moulds - does that make it new or old?

They're still going, and as inconvenient as a prolonged wait might be, he's a thoroughly trustable fella - you will get your toys.
He's had a terrible year only made worse by Covid, he's relocated his workshop 200 odd miles entirely by himself into a space half the size. He's the hardest working person I know in the biz, but combined it's left him exhausted and caused inevitable delays.
-
I just got a "shipped" update for the order I placed in January. Now I only hope that the whole shipping chain runs smoothly with all the Brexit, Covid, Black Friday and Christmas chaos potentially taking place simultaneously. ::)
-
I received my order two weeks ago, placed in September. I think you can trust him, but have to be patient because of all the trouble he went through this year.
-
The poor guy on top of having a terrible year, has also recently been having some hospital woes as well. (Facebook postings.)
So yeah, he's trustworthy, just he's had an absolute shocker of a year, and he's a one man show.

My parcel arrived this week. I only have a vague recollection of what I ordered back then. Now I seriously contemplate gift-wrapping this, unopened, and placing it under the Christmas tree as a surprise to myself. lol
Anyway, I can thus confirm that he still delivers, sooner or later. :)

That is an awesome idea lol

I'll second this, very good reliable guy with the worlds worst luck.

Apologies - I meant to post this link (https://fenrisgames.com/news/the-year-that-keeps-on-giving) a few days ago but got hit by real life.
He has really not had a good year but still going!
You can tell he is new to 'The North' if he thinks Saxilby is wild - he has a fish and chip shop where as ours arrives once a month in a van!
Wonder if Lincolnshire is becoming the resin county with him and Ainsty in Ranby...

Er... he's moved back to where he grew up... lol

o_o Maybe there are lead free metal and resin mines in the area, so its easier to get hold of... o_o
Hence so many miniature companies congregate there.
Or like moths to a flame they are attracted by the pale light, darkened skies, smell of resin curing, metal melting and lets not forget the rubber or the silicon. mmm rubber...vulcanizing.
But he is back "home" after much disaster.
After his comments earlier this year of simply shutting up and giving up, I think he is doing better than could have been imagined or expected of the situation, and its great he is managing to get stuff out, I understand its not as great as those having paid could want, but he does update his posts on the website, and hopefully they will one day soon be more positive.
I wish him and his current, future, and waiting customers the best, and hope his following years are all better to be fair, as he has some top quality stuff, I am glad its still available, and I will one day get more of it hopefully.
