Title: Dark Age Thread (updated 4 Dec 2020)
Post by: killshot on September 12, 2020, 04:22:35 PM: I have large number of Dark Age figures I’m about to work on abs figured I start a single thread. First up are some Norman and Romano-British that I recently completed as a commission. They customer will be using sheiks transfers himself, so no shields on these.

Thanks, I know the move for wargaming has gone to skirmish games with individual miniatures but I still love the look of mass ranked figures!

Yep, me too. Nothing at all wrong with skirmish wargaming, the games can look utterly stunning as demonstrated recently on some of the Never mind the Billhooks threads here in the Med. section, but you just cannot beat massed ranks in large battles IMHO.

I know that Victrix has been releasing stunning plastic kits but there’s just something about the Crusader figures that I really like.
