Okay he may not of said it Quite like that. To be fair at that point I was 'Peopled Out' , and off to the bar to recharge .
As he's in no particular rush for these .Its a 'WIP' as I add a little every now and then. When I've an extra piece of clay.So nothing is 100% done.
Since I've been busy beyond belief this year. It's been difficult to find time to post anything new on here. So this is a little motivation to make some time.
The Sombrero's are separate as will be an additional set of stowage. As they'll make it easier for Dag's to add some variation to his Vesparado's.

Those are rather nice. Were to cast up the mopeds for sale, you’d no doubt get some of the Vietnam war crowd interested.
Whimsical as the notion and its inspiration is, there is a distant reflection of the truth in the cartoon. Back in the late 1980s and early ‘90s the preferred form of transport for Colombian sicarios was the motorbike or scooter. The usual MO was to pull up to the target and the bloke on the back of the bike would unload into the target. It became so common that in Medellin, they actually banned people from riding pillion.

Very cool idea. You could also use the bikes to make some mods for 60/70 pulpy tv style games.

They're proving a nice little distraction.
There's still a couple of extra torsos to do. As for what Jon's doing with them you'll have to ask him. Since he's access to casting.I suspect they'll turn up in something other than clay. ;)
The moped isn't actually based on the real thing. It's a stylized version with oversized wheels to keep the feel of the original cartoon. I'm only making the one moped master. As it's designed to be tweaked for a recast .As the saddlebags are easily removable from the master( easier to do it that way round)
But if you want I'll add pictures of the next torsos on the master .As. I finish them. Or wait until Dag's has finished his cunning plan.
There's only a couple more rogue Laffer's commissions/sculpts left to do this year before I battern down the hatches for a run of Follies and Home Front sculpts.(I think the next on is 15's 'lady of ill repute' in a scale that abuses my eye's.)
If of course you don't count. Marianas_gamer's ill fated 'Clever Duck' which has been held hostage ten miles from Him since the 3rd of the month. :(

This isn't going to be a 'business' for me - waaaay too busy with painting to think about that at the moment but getting them cast gives me the numbers I want and if folks want some it will, obviously, help with moulding and casting costs but that's a long way down the line.
But if you want I'll add pictures of the next torsos on the master as I finish them
