Title: 15mm pirate ship's fittings?
Post by: Onebigriver on November 27, 2020, 09:41:06 PM
I've got a couple of toy pirate ships that I'm hoping to convert for 15mm gaming, but I'm struggling to find replacement parts for the oversized bits such as the wheel, anchor etc. I'm sure someone like Fighting 15s or East Riding used to do some 15mm ship's fittings, but can't find them.

Can anybody suggest a source for these?

Cheers.

EDIT: Found the fittings on East Riding's website! However, still open for other suggestions!

Hmmm, not really sure.

I don't recall Peter Pig making stuff like that, other than cannons and crews.

I'd suggest looking for 1/100th, or HO scale Age of Sail naval vessel parts from wooden ship builders suppliers.

Sorry, don't know of any off hand, but they are out there and can provide those, and more than you need, e.g. ship's boats, stacks of cannon balls, anchors, wheels, bells, etc., etc..

Try "Old Glory 25's" Despite thier name they have 15mm troops. More to your dilemma, they have the Merrimack Ship Yard. Blue Moon will also get you there. They are in Pennsylvania. I would link you but I do not know how.

You could also check accessories for wooden ships. Some of those parts can be used for 15mm.
