Excellent news! Love the King Arthur figures but wasn't able to get them all.
Can now add to my collection.

Sweet news!
-
Oooh, those are top flight figures!
-
Great stuff I love those orcs
-
amazing skill (from mr. Meier ?).
look more like 75mm than 28mm (25mm apparently!)
ah right - further qualification: the 'elves' which I find particularly impressive are '1/60 scale - 30mm'.
-
good to see them available and in production again, was a shame when Mr Meier had to take the decision to close thunderbolt mountain.
They are great true 25mm scale miniatures.
-
This is awesome. Even awesomer, there will be new Meier goblin sculpts in 25mm. You can see a bit of a preview if you click on the "Future Releases" at the top of the page.

Nice. Thanks for the heads up.

Yes! Me, too! Great news.

Brilliant. I have a few of these. Wonder if we’ll be able to get them this side of the pond... those giant wolves... :-*
-
That's awesome! I haven't seen these since Thunderbolt was at Gen Con in 2003! (may have been Origins?)
-
Excellent! What scale are these? 1/60 is what they say on the website?
-
25mm

25mm
Hmm .. so they might scale well with GW's LotR range?

LotR plastics are 28mm and metal 32mm iirc — only on the small side compared to other current GW minis, not in the range of actual 25mm.

Lovely to see Mr. Meiers' work will carry on. It was such a shame to think his very distinctive and classical miniatures were going to be no more.

The LotR range is pretty inconsistent, especially the older stuff. The high elves in particular are pretty tiny.

If they measure ~25mm to to eye, they're good then.

I believe the Arthurian stuff is 25mm to the eye. The fantasy stuff and Byzantines are 28mm, although their proportions are closer to real life than almost every other miniature I’ve encountered, so they look very slight and delicate compared to almost else out there. It works quite well for the elves if you like an otherworldly look.
