Not sure what to title this project, but with Colin Patton releasing a new Norse dwarf line (Ragnarok Miniatures), I’ve jumped into an expansive project!
These are the Riders of Odin, Crusader Miniatures mounted Saxon Thegns pressed into Viking serve.

Thank you! No idea honestly, just wanted to multi-base on this. I may just adapt Warmaster, but I am open to suggestions.

Nice figures.

Very well done, really good work on them. :)

Nice work...I have a bit of a soft spot for Crusader Minis :)

Thank you, me too. I plan to use the Crusader Viking range (and others) for all the human elements.

Very nice job, sir!

Crusader's new viking characters are brilliant.

Ehem... might I point you in the direction of Fantastic Battles? ;)

Really nice work. I like the black colour scheme and the basing in particular.

Seconded! :)

Some dwarfs from Conqueror Models. The blue and white color scheme was inspired from the old WFB Dwarf book (3rd or 4th edition?) against the night goblins.

Fourth, that unit almost got me collecting dwarfs.
These look great, the scheme really suits them.
-
I love that colour scheme - it really works well.
How do these miniatures scale up against the Games Workshop Lord of the Rings ranges (both metal and plastic)?
-
Really lovely job on those as well. The bases are ace!
And now I have a bit of early 90s Scandi-pop music running through my head.

Me too, I was right before GW changed the look and I never really got into dwarfs. I absolutely love these figures though.

Always loved those figures and the painting and especially the basing have set an idea in my head of using my unpainted Foundry Norse WHFB army and the painted Beastman army for a similar endeavour...consider your basing idea appropriated sir! Great work keep them coming!

Excellent! Go for it, let me know if you have any questions regarding anything.
Those conqueror dwarfs are really good!
I agree, they really are. I have another unit of spear-dwarfs and then will expand to other units.
-
Those dwarves are exceptional. Great line of models but you have really done them justice. Superb!

Sorry I had some issues with the quote function :( o_o
I wondered what you meant by "new Norse dwarf line from Colin Patton" ???
Now I know, they are on Kickstarter these days, and I am really tempted by these Dvergr !
I hope its allright to include the link.
