Hi All
Today I spotted the release of an intresting movie based on a comic book.
Here is the youtube link
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a6djPGS3RCA&feature=player_embedded
What I understand that it is supose to be a triology. Spoken in French tough
And I am not sure it will be released outside France and Belgium
But to me it looks inspiring :)

Looks good! I like most everything Luc Besson does...though I have not seen From Paris With Love yet.
Releases next Wednesday (4/14) in Belgium.

Don't. It is awful.

Pterodactyls, living mummies and god-awful dentistry, what more could you ask?
(Oh, and a rather smashing young filly in the lead role, as well.)
-
I have the comics in English, they're great fun. I never heard of the movie. Thanks for the info.

Looks cool. Will have to see if I can find a full English subbed version.
One movie I found inspiring was The Fall. This had some awesome visuals.

I saw it at the cinema last Friday.
Its good, but don't expect a feast. The theme is great but the film lacks a little. That said I liked it a lot and the humour is good (unusally) though the heroine laks something (but that maybe because I'm not a fan!).
But said the idea of an old man waking a Pterodactyls and then spending all his enger trying to control is great and that alone merits a vewing.
The decor is good and the film could inspire a game or two.
I went expecting fifth element in 1920s, and got it a little mixed with Amilie Poulaine.

As its French you see plenty of her too!

Surely this takes place pre-Great War, around the turn of the last centure? I should be a film for Malamute and his lot.

Tom
They were published in 1990 by a tiny company named Nantir Beall Minoustchine Publishing. I just checked their web site :http://www.nbmpub.com/ and they're out of print.

Found most of it to be just that; would like to have an English-dubbed version to share with friends who hate to watch-and-read, but, for me, the pacing allowed following subtitles just fine.
I will admit I found a few sensibilities jarring, but, what can I say? I'm a provincial.
