Looking for famous Victorians in 15mm

Not much chance from what I have been able to find, but I'd love to get:

Victoria
Albert
Bismark
Lincoln
Grant
The Sultan (and court if possible)
The Czar (ditto)

Any help?

Thanks

There is very interesting to make personalities for 15mm 19 century. Why? Becose sometimes you'll need to make a conversions and buy minis fro bunch of manufacturers.

Here what I found:

Grant and Lee

For Bismark I've bought an 15mm Prussian Artillery set from Irregular Miniatures and repainted an artilley officer/

Walt,

I can help out with Lincoln and Grant.

Lincoln -
Old Glory 15's. He come in the Eastern Generals pack IIRC but believe that they are available seperately.
Peter Pig used to sell a Lincoln, along with Mary, but I haven't seen him on their site for some time. The Old Glory miniature is nicer.

The Old Glory Lincoln can be seen here along with Jeff Davies. I have the Peter Pig Lincoln but haven't painted him.
Grant - Old Glory 15's (mounted), from the Western Generals Pack.
There is another available from 15mm.co.uk in the Potomac ACW line. Again he is mounted and when I bought them years ago the Lee on the site was packaged as Grant and Grant as Lee... They aren't bad little figures, thought the horse looks a little weedy.
Minifigs also sell Grant, though I haven't seen this miniature. Peter Pig used to sell a mounted miniature of Grant but, as with the Lincoln miniature, I haven't seen him on their site for some time. I believe Scale Creep Miniatures was working on a miniature of Grant but haven't heard anything about this for a while.

As for the rest - I don't know of any particular miniatures for these people. Conversions may be your best bet. Irregular, as does Old Glory, make female civilians which may be of help for Victoria. Essex make an Arab Tent with fire, seated Arab leader with two bodyguards in their Dark Age Campsite & Civilians range. He may be useful as a Sultan.

Here's a photo of some of the Old Glory Civillians:

I hope this helps.

Barry

just what do you intend to do with the Queen Victoria mini?

(I have to ask. There are those, like a recent movie, "Young Queen Victoria", who would have her doing sex!!!  Heck, I'm a yank, but even I say "That's not cricket!"  >:()

I had to ask.   ;)

My GF, for example, places my 54mm Teddy Roosevelt in the most  prurient and suggestive positions with a bending over ammo feeder for a browning MG from the 71st NY.

That is not "cool!"  (it's an American saying, means "that is not cricket!")

And she claims that it was not intended (she's been doing it since 1999!), that I am just a (something)phobe!   Yeah right!  She has all the Rough Riders up the hill near the sand bags and barb wire, yet Teddy is ALWAYS back with the 71'st right in back of, and in contact with, that bending over ammo feeder!

rant over   :D

That ain't "random placement!"

Great stuff Fjodin!  I would rather have foot figures than those mounted ones (for rpg style games) but that is very clever.  Great job!

Most of my 19th century stuff is VSF, though I do have some Naval Infantry, as these are the most universal figures out there.  Get a set painted in blue and/or white uniforms, and you can use them for virtually every great power, including Russia, Germany, Britain, France (maybe needs a red pompon, they always have to be different), Italy, Austria and the USA, as well as many minor powers.

Other than these, all I have are some Axis and Allies Mongolian Cavalry that I use for Tartars, reluctant Czarists, mercenaries for the Grand Turk, or Arab/Tuareg raiders, and some Greek cavalry that can be fairly generic, at least for Eastern Europe.

Most of my foes for these troops are stuff like Red Martians, Tripod Martians, Reptilemen from the Deep (working for crazy octopus-headed deities), Clockwork Soldiers of several sizes (who either work for some mad scientist, or those nefarious Germans, possibly both), Sagoths and Mahars from the Earth's Core, Lost World armies of Egyptian types riding chariots and elephants and infantry wearing hideous masks (these fellas haven't learned about gunpowder yet, but they make up for it with a few nasty magicians), and the occasional London or Paris cult of mad sorcerers raising armies of demons and the dead for fun and profit.

Sadly, I have very few of the staples of historical Victorian enemies, such as Zulus, Mahdists or Pathans.  I would LOVE to get some of these guys, if one of you gentlemen would care to work out a purchase or a trade.

just what do you intend to do with the Queen Victoria mini?

Probably just have her shooting Martians with a revolver or elephant gun.  Nothing more untoward than that.   ;)

Smokey: How do you think she had all those kids? Grandmother to the crowns of Europe, she was.
