Title: A Gentelman's Duel
Post by: pixelgeek on August 05, 2007, 05:43:59 PM
A very VSF steampunk CG short. Quite funny and very much inspired by Looney Tunes.

Thanks for sharing! Really brilliant!

I lost some dialog due to the accents. I suppose the thin guy is english and the uniformed guy is...?

"Your grace is only matched by your boobies... errr, beauty!"

Hilarious. But, those arenīt exactly Queensbury rules, are they? Dzdzdz. "Gentlemen" these days, I say, old chums.

Oh, comment on dit, "Il est francais."   He's a Frenchie as the poodle is a dead giveaway.

Great fun, very Privateer Press styled and of course, everything stops for tea.

Yep, French. The fact that his 'mech' looks like a frog is a bit of a giveaway, too.

I like the Jurassic Park-style "monster's coming" trembling. It works so much better with boobies than a cup of water.  :)

Making tea?

Ok I know the frenchy Mechy looked like a frog. Did the Englishman's mech resemble anything I did not catch?

I was trying to figure that one, too. I didn't come up with anything really.

Is it this one?

Thatīs just the trailer, the actual short is or was about 10 minutes. Too bad about that. Wonder if it will resurface some time.

This is superb. You sort of wish they would make a whole film like it. Very funny.
