Ive just put up a new model, the pickup truck. Its made by Leo Blackband, who did the Iron Grumbler. Its a pretty chunky bit of kit! I painted it as usual. Im going through my yellow phase at the moment. Rusty yellow. Nex up from Leo is going to be a turret set and new front for the Iron Grumbler. Im going to paint that yellow too!

I like it, not my period but if it was I'd buy it ::)

Great, as usual Curtis! I'll order this when the turrets will be available for the Grumbler!

Lovely truck.

Wow, that's beautiful!
Well, actually, it's damn ugly. But in a beautiful way! ;D

That's one meaty fellow, isn't it? The ramp's a pretty nasty-looking bit of cow-catching too.
I'd love to drive this to work!
Kids in your flashy BMW's look out. The Bezzo is coming through!
Go show those richy-riches who's boss. >:D

indeed a great truck - and fantastic rust paint job :o

I love painting rust, its really qucik and easy too.
1. Paint the model brown.
2. Spray on GW macharius solar orange with a tooth brush. AN old one mind, or the wife's ;)
3. Wash with watered down black/grown mix.
4. Light drybrush with silver.
The peeling paint is then done as follows
1. Prime with flesh or bone colour, then apply the yellow.
2. When dry, run under a hot water tap and attack the paint work with a tooth brush.
Then after that its just a matter of finishing up. Cover any scratches where the base resin shows through, then do some dribbles in brown and orange. Jobs a good'un! I actually did a model similar to this in 20 minuets once. I used a fan heater to speed up the drying.

Would suit my terminator project. What's the damage for that lump a hunk Curtis?
