By the same gentleman as Cup of Brown Joy, which has been show here on LAF at least once already but bears repeating.

Bwahaha I love the first video. Can't wait to see the new one!
-
Jolly good lol lol lol Is that Matakishi in a fake beard?
-
"No those are my time travel trousers...." lol
-
Is fighting trousers actually aimed at another performer?

Sounds like he's having a pop at Mr B, another chap-hop impressario. Plenty of examples of his work on YouTube, but I found him weak tea compared to the Professor.
-
Quite. Mr B is a mere end-of-the-pier novelty act, although his love of cricket does rather impress one.
-
I say! Rather good, what? lol ;D
-
This Mr. B must be very poor indeed, if he can make this clown look good.
-
Mr B does covers (or dress up karaoke, if you will), Prof here does his own rhymes. This video version is a bit weak compared to the live performance available on the tube:

Good stuff, really.

I let this thread go on a bit, wondering if I was to be the only one that, seeing the subject, flashed on Wallace and Gromit.

Ah to be a gentleman rhymer...

Having seen a bit from both of them, I wonder if this isn't a stunt they've concocted...

I like the comment on the live version - 'MR B and MC Elemental were involved in a drive by Shouting. It was a most horrendous affair. Words were said, and to cut a long story short, Umbrage was taken by both parties.'
We all know how difficult it gets to smooth the waters when a chap takes umbrage...

I don't know if this counts as "steampunk music," but if it does, this is by far the best of that genre. The vocabulary is great and it really plays up what, in my opinion is one of the greatest things about VSF-Steampunk; the Sun-Never-Sets British Empire thing. Maybe as an American I have a somewhat different view of that kind of thing than a Brit would, but hey, saying things like, "God bless the British for inventing tea!" is really a hoot.

Having never heard of these two outside of here I watched quite a bit on Youtube. I really like Mr B and found his version of Prodigy's "Out of Space" quite funny as I had been watching the original with my gf earlier in the day. 8) I also found his history of Rap quite entertaining. I gather he does the festival circuit. Not much to see of The Professor though.
-
Love 'em both and love the fact that it works :D
cheers

My wife just downloaded the Professor's new album for me. It is GOOD. Highly recommended. I find myself trying to think of a suitable mini to use as Professor Elemental and his cybernetic monkey butler Geoffrey.
