Hi all

Have had an interesting time reading your posts. Thought I'd join in and say Hi.

Used to game Warhammer 40K but discovered Back of Beyond.

Currently painting Chinese Warlord Army with varying degrees of success especially faces and eyes! Any tips greatly appreciated especially on doing eyes!   :?

I find that when I'm painting asiatc eyes (i.e. eyes without the caucasian fold on the eyelid) it is better to paint no eyeballs at all. Just make sure you hilite the eyelids properly and put a dark umbre shadow below it.

Sounds like fun. I think I'm on to my White Terror force next. Found some good uniform colours through the Back of Beyond threads. :)

Hope to one day. Still trying to settle on a style after a long break from painting and gaming. Found Kevin Dallimores book very good and very inspiring. My style  and the quality took a huge leap after reading through that.

I'll have a crack at the eye's technique that you mentioned and then post some photo's.

our forum doesn't have any upload feature, so you should have uploaded the photo to an external server and link it to the forum in your message with the IMG button

Another possibility were to send the pic to me - forum@backofbeyond.de
