Title: July 5th, 28mm Martian Skiff Released
Post by: wolfgangbrooks on July 03, 2011, 08:25:55 AM
Hello, I just made a big post with a number of pictures showing off our new John Carter/Space 1889 inspired martian skiff. It'll be available Tuesday for $20 USD, and we're thinking about doing an assembled and primed version for $25 USD.

We only have thirty in the first batch though, and more won't be available until after Historicon.

Let me know what you think.

I'm pleased to see it cast up.  I think you have done a great job on bringing it to market and I hope that it sells well.

Thanks, Dampf. We wanted to get it out sooner, but it was at the same caster that delayed the Hardsuit so long. :/

You did great work on it, we'll see how this goes and maybe get you to do some other stuff for us.

Louis, I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.  :D

Edit: Any chance of you putting price lists up on your blog of 'Other Lines We Carry'?

Hmm, was thinking about making links to pages on the webstore. A price list would be huge. :) I'll see what I can do for next weekend.

I've also put up Secret Weapon's washes and pigments if you're into that kind of thing.

Dopey moi, I was thinking a lot of manufactures have simple .doc style price lists for distributor/retailers. Size tends not to be that much an issue in a simple text file. Their online stores, on the other hand, are oft nightmares to navigate. Might be a struggle to delete wholesale prices as well as keeping up with updates, I suppose. *shrug*

Please note, I was a massive fail as a web guru.

Lovely skiffs, both. May be able to use side by side...

Ah, I didn't know you were thinking a text file. That's very doable, just not as a .doc file. :)

It has been suggested the smaller one could be used as a single person flyer. I've been thinking about making a seat/legs combo to glue down in the passenger area. I'll see what I can do.

Sadly, I've just had visions of Back to the Future II.  lol

Yikes, I'm engaging in some serious thread necromancy here, but I looked around on the store page for this item, and couldn't find it for sale, just the 15mm version.

Is this one still available?  I'd love to pick one up!

Try a note to the contact email on the main page of the store. I've found Richard easy to deal with both in person and in notes.

Thanks for making me look, by the way. I picked up one of each size, but with the reduced price and my greater recent play in 15, damn tempted fill a fleet!
