Hi
Some time ago I saw a new range of FFL miniatures and Arabs, but I can't remember which company produce them nor can't find them at the web.
Can anybody help me?
Regards

Here they are:

Also for comparisons: redoubt Enterprises, Old Glory Miniatures and Askari Miniatures(very comprehensive range).

Hi,
I have a couple of French Foreign Legionaires in my Lead Mountain.
If you looking for the classic Beau Geste Legionaire I recommend Unfeasibly.
Cheers

Yeah! That's what I was looking for!
:)
Thanks a lot!

I was planning something 'beaugestesque'. It's to game with my kid and he is hooked by old adventures films.

Iam also hooked by old adventure games. Love them.
We did a Beaugestesque game in Hamburg at a wargame convention.

Bjorn, Are those Old Glory or Unfeasibly figures in your collection?
-
They are Old Glory.
The Officer with the pistol aiming is Unfeasibly.
The mules are Foundry.
-
Thanks, I recognised the Unfeasibly officer, but didnt know the others. They are nice looking figures. I always find the Old Glory ranges a lottery, some are gorgeous figures and some downright mingers
-
You are right with Old Glorys
The Old Glory Foreign Legion Range is ok.
I have them for years now so I think they are a little out of age.
The faces are not that great. Only 4 variants I think.
I have some WW1 Germans and I remember Grimm saying they look great and he was completely surprised when I told him that they are from OG.
The Sudanese Beja are also good. Whenever I play with them at cons people think they are Perrys. And thats a compliment isnt it ?
Happy Eastern

If you are interested in French Foreign Legion, then you probably already are familiar with this link. But I think it's a good idea to post this Red Shadow link every now and then, just to make sure people have seen it:

yes, its an excellent site.
Thanks for posting it.

Thanks for all the useful advice, guys!
The pics are stunning, Bjorn. Love them.
I will buy Unfeasibly minis, though is a shame they have not available mounted Tuaregs :freak:
Cheers!

Von Kapputt:
Camel-mounted Tuareg will be ready towars the end of Jan 08.

I guess they must be a bit behind schedule. Hopefully they are still in the pipeline.

Hi
Why Not try The Redoubt Range??
There is a lot more variation, and the figures look good ,the other unfeasible mob lack enough variation for me , although they are nice.
Forget the old glory FFL ,all though the Arabs I have from them are very nice and they will give you some more variation rather than that Cloaked Taurag look all the time

Hope so. The miniatures look very nice and I would like to have all my figures coming from the same manufacturer.

Thanks Malamute for the recommendation.
We've had a slow down on the production rate - one of those work / life balance acts.
However Richard should be starting work (once Salute is out of the way) on the mounted Tuaregs along with the mules and horses for the mounted French Foreign Legion.
The camels are already done (2 variants).

Hi, Mark
Those are good news.
Are you going to Salute. A friend of mine is, and I would like to tell him to buy some of your minis in my behalf.

The range is carried by Dave Thomas (Perry's / Foundry) at all major UK shows and he will be there at Salute or PM me and I bring the order along as I will be there.
