Title: Wild West Exodus Kickstarter Launched
Post by: Whiskyrat on February 03, 2013, 01:09:29 AM
The kickstarter  (http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/wildwestexodus/wild-west-exodus-sci-fi-western-miniatures-game?ref=live)has started and it has already passed it's $20k funding goal in less than 48 hours.

Not sure whether I'm in or out at this stage ..... which means I'm probably going to be in.  lol

"All Customers that are overseas will be receiving their items from our UK warehouse and shipping partner.  This means that anyone looking to pledge will not have to worry about international customs and other taxes seen from US packages.  Some delays may occur but should be minimal as we have set out a good window for arrival dates on all of your items."

Hmmm .... no VAT & Royal Mail handling charges.

** Estimated Delivery on these Aug/Sept 2013 **

Not at all.

This is specifically about the kickstarter - hence the title.  ;)

Why must my wallet surrender whenever Firefly is involved?
Must resist

New Heavy Support Choice being pitched for $65k pledge level ...

"This vehicle is super fast on the battle field and can carry up to 5 hired hands.  It can be set up with Rocket Pods, Mini Cannons, or Gatling Guns.  It has an open top option that lets you attack your enemies while driving by.  This little beast will run circles around your enemy once on the table."

Not sure about this .... I think I need to see it beyond the concept art.

Oh I think I can see a bucketload of Space Orks in the back of that. Oh well, maybe after I've put in that massive order for vehicles to Ramshackle, I'll have a think about this...

Wrong scale... unless 35 mm equals 'heroic' 28 mm  lol

Yeah, pretty much it does. Orks are big anyway, much more than 2m I guess in 'real life'.

A similar size to Warmachine and Malifaux according to the photo.

Im loving this range of minis, and the rules are quite simple to play, but very easy to customize with new stuff ie it wouldn't take rocket science to make some stats for a rampaging dinosaur for a fun game or two.

Im loving this range of minis

I like a few figures from each faction - usually the boss/under boss figures.

I may pick these up from wave 2.

I really dislike the undead/automatons and the rank and file "indians".

Really nice figures, or would have been if they had used a standard scale.  This is like those Dystopian Wars figures - nice, but too ridiculously large.
