I've been wargaming since the early eighties, play 40k when I can but spend almost all my free time building scenery, terrain and scratch building.

I've lurked here for a while and have finally registered.

There is only a sustainable gaming scene in the bigger cities.

Where I am (Cape Town) there are a couple of small but active historical clubs and a couple of bigger fantasy/sci-fi clubs spread over the metropole, and 4 or 5 gaming stores selling mostly GW. You can get a game of WFB, 40K or Warmahordes without a problem at any club night or store. Historicals take a bit more effort.
