After hearing so many good things about this forum I finally got round to joining up.
I see there are many here I already know
Hope to meet the rest of you soon.
Cheers

Hiya, Germy, old thing. Nice to see you again.

Welcome! I'm surprised you're just joining us now; I would have thought you'd have gotten sucked in much sooner. :)

Good to be here mate.

Well actually I was a little embarrassed to join given how little I've been contributing to the sorts of miniatures that this forum might appreciate
But I have a number of current sculpting projects steering me more towards Lead Adventure and I've been getting heavily involved in Fantasy gaming after a long break so felt like the time was right to sneak in :)

This is a great site. You must not be ashamed of anything you put out here. It is a place where things get done. I, for one, do not think we see enough of your wee little creations in the world.
-
Oh, you're the guys behinf that Rattrap robot? Cool! Welcome!
-
Considering your excellent robot for me and a certain (head chopping) hermit crab used by another, I think your creations are perfect for this group.
Welcome to the fold and I think you'll see that the appreciation for all your work will be great here.
-
Hi Germy, nice to meet you! please tell us now about all the cool top secret miniatures you're going to sculpt for Rattrap

Now that would be telling, I have a number of commissions/requests from several companies which will see me doing things in 28mm (gulp!) so you'll just have to wait to see 8)
And a further Hello to more familiar faces :)

Hello :)

sup dog.
Err, I mean, welcome Jeremy, nice to see you here.
(Sorry, writing this at work, I'm easily influenced by my surroundings :) )
-
Hello Germy! I'm sure you'll like it here.
-
Well hellooooo Dolly! I surely hope your sculpting skills are contagious. I could use some of those.
Loved those cuddly tiny tanks and robots (what was it, 2mm?). I´m too much of a 28er to really get any of those, but they are positively awesome.
-
Then you should buy the 2mm tanks as toys for your 28mm figs!
Hmmmm that gives me an idea for a diorama

Cool always nice to know people have come across the paper models side of me as well.
It's a real shame I don't have any time to do some more! Well maybe one day 8)

Funny you should say that...
I'm in the middle of converting some GW Epic-scale [or 6mm for normal people] tanks and spare weapons that I picked up free into 28mm "gun-droids". The plan is to link two together with some lengths of thick wire- the front one will carry the gun with the second being the power source. ~Thry will be used for guarding installations or sneaking about in jungles.
Not a very good description, I'm afraid, but it looks fantastic in my head
2mm might make very interesting stealth or "assassin" droids in 28mm. I'll have to take a look at your stuff!

Welcome aboard!
-
Hello germy, I have to follow the choir, the 28mm paper houses you did are great.
-
Hi Germy,
What took you so long? Nice to see you!
Jo:)
