Hi Folks I am hosting a Pirate gasme this coming tuesday but to wet my players appetites we launched Shed Wars TV with a trailer
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AZ7UYHk3I6g
Over the next few days I'll be adding to this thread...
Here is the background story
A Game of Bones
St Marks is a small island situated south west of Barbados in the West Indies. Since wrestling control from the Spanish five years ago the Island is now in British hands and matters of state are overseen by Governor Sir Martin Nash.
Aside from the small production of sugar cane shipped through the port of Spencer’s Landing the island is best known for its resting place of the famous Conquistador El Mark del Boyes. This soldier, adventurer, cum missionary died of typhoid whilst on route back to Spain. It is believed that his earthly remains were interred somewhere on the Island.
Legend has it that El Mark del Torre had discovered a fabulous treasure once belonging to the Aztec king Primancoatl. With Del Boyes’ death and his ship being lost on route back to Spain the treasure has passed into the tales of folklore.
The story moves forward, whilst making repairs to the wharfside in Spencer’s Landing, workers discovered a sea chest containing amongst some old clothes and an old diary belonging to Del Boyes’ priest, Brother Rodney. The messages within the diary confirmed that the Aztec treasure was indeed no myth and that the Conquistador had indeed intended to return to Spain with this fabulous wealth. The diary went onto report that del Boyes’ treasure was buried with the warrior.

Jolly good fun Giles. Thanks very much for the hospitality. I enjoyed bombarding my fellow pirate's jolly boats, as they sat unattended on the beach :D
Much fun :)

Last night saw one of the biggest ever games played in the shed – some numbers - six players, one umpire, five ships, a walled town complete with port, a jungle with over 100 palm trees, and 200+ 28mm figures.
A big thank you to those that took part.
This was a frantic game all fought in 3 hours using a hybrid version of Muskets & Tomahawks.
Loads of photos on the blog – www.shedwars.blogspot.com
The game was originally titled ‘a Game of Bones’ but I have now decided that this will now be the strapline for all the games fought under this banner – so this adventure – part one of a potential trilogy will be known as
The Plotter, the Daughter, and the Pirate slaughter....
Please drop by for a read and if as a result of this you have an idea for the sequel please do add a comment

Giles
Please don't forget me - I'll try and not be in Birmingham next time (not that there's anything wrong with Birmingham)
-
Won't forget you Mark
-
Wow, I'm with Rob. That just upped the ante for all battle reports anywhere in the gaming world. One day, maybe I'll be able to find the energy to do that. Right now, I can barely keep up with posting pics of what I'm painting - let alone to video prequels and AARs of that caliber.
A hearty "well done!"

Cheers Mike
really appreciate your comments
