I was inspired by Carlos' samurai round up, so I did one for Chinese (including Korea, Mongols, etc), Fantasy Chinese, and Kung-Fu
I thought it might be useful to some of the folks here, and of course if you know of anything I've missed, feel free to let me know:
White Metal Fist! (http://www.randomplatypus.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=595)
Enjoy!

Great round up mate. Disappointed that you can't buy similar figures from the northstar packs as there are very few whole packs I weans but plenty of models from individual packs I would like.
-
Useful resource :)
Newline also do Warring States Chinese and they are (I would say) true 25s
Redoubt have the Boxer range that a good portion of which would be suitable for other periods.
cheers
James
Edit - Now set as a sticky :)

Excellent Nate, a great load of figures and a forum I didn't know about ;D

I have had that site bookmarked for a few years and every time I have tried to contact them I have never had an answer. How did you actually order?
on another note I have just received some Yuan Chinese from SHQ which I ordered to look at as there are no pictures on their site. A tad small but actually pretty decent and I have added them to the painting queue.

I believe they have an email on their website, however in my experience the intervals between replies might take 1 or 2 days.
I ordered about half of their range, once I get back to the US I will take some pictures if anyone needs them.

-
Did anyone ever actually get their dddhk figs? How do they look and scale?
-
Eureka Miniatures has the following which can pass for Chinese (rather than Japanese) in their samurai range:
Peasant Levy Spearmen http://eurekamin.com.au/images/100SAM04.jpg
Warrior Monks http://eurekamin.com.au/images/100SAM01.jpg
As well as Kung Fu School Girls, if you like that sort of thing http://eurekamin.com.au/images/100FAN03.jpg

North Star just announced on their Facebook page the other day that they are working on a box of Ming Chinese figures for the Osprey Ronin game.
-
I've got to echo the question on page 1, anyone have any of those 3D Studios Three Kingdoms miniatures?
If the scale fits they'd probably be the most perfect miniatures for some Dynasty Warriors tabletop action that I'll ever see...

I think a friend of mine has them and said the scale was a little inconsistentm if it's the models I am thinking of that is. Will ask him to post a size comparison.

Don't worry James, if its more than skirmishing you seek, there should be an interesting project announced before the end of the year. ;)

I don't know if someone mentioned it before, but I found a new company from Atlanta/USA. They started with a kickstarter and are going to start a range of warring states/mythological miniatures probably around November 2015 to January 2016.
Here is the link: http://watchfulistudio.com
Cheers Hannibal ;)

I picked up a few of the Warring Staes figures and they are consistant in size and pretty good quality plastic. I got them a few years ago and they got lost in the move. Michtoy used to stock them but I dont know now. I have a buddy in Shanghai and I'll have him look into availability again. Ceaser plastics are making Ming, Qing and Han in plastic and either Red Box or Orion do Ming and Korean. All in 25mm. Hope this helps??

just a note to say Gringo40s will be bringing out
a range of Manchu...Taipings...and EVA Chinese troops
for our forthcoming 28mm Opium Wars range.....
