Hi everybody !
Yes, why not start an ogre gallery ?!
You've done a great job on this one Einar
Here are my contributions.
They are old Citadel I think and they are painted by Philippe V.
Have a good week-end

The Old Ogre looks TERRIFIC, einarolafson. Your brushwork is SPLENDID; the flesh tones & the Big Guy's five o'clock shadow are OUTSTANDING. GREAT WORK!
@Buntaro: your Ogres are BEAUTIES...so to speak, but you might have checked with einarolafson to see if it was okay to post your work in his thread before doing so.
-
That is far from beong my fav Old Ogre but the paint job is simply stunning!
-
Oh yes you're right DeafNala ! :?
Sorry ! Einarolafson's beautiful job gave me the idea and I jump on it too quickly.
Is it alright for you Einarolafson or would you prefer me to open a new thread?
Cheers

I agree with the above comments re: skin tone. And that five o'clock shadow! Wow!
Can you share what paints you used for his skin?
-Alex
-
Spot on, I echo the coments about the skintones, absolutley lovely. :-*
Got one of those lads in my ongoing Realms of Chaos pile, gonna save this picture for reference if I ever get my finger out.

I hope this help: Vallejo Game Colour dark flesh, then 50\50 VGC dark flesh\ dwarf flesh, then dwarf flesh, and then 50 dwarf flesh \50 elf flesh, and a last highlight with elf flesh. You could use an ink just after using the dark flesh basecolor. I have been using this recipe for years and years for Caucasian flesh tone.

No worries, it is a good idea, if you open a "ogre thread" I will participate. But I was thinking about using this thread for posting all my "old stuff" in the same ogres, not only ogres.
And now... Picture!! And old Mutant Ogre.

It's a very old miniature, it could be Grenadier or a very old Citadel but I don't know much about it.
Cheers.

An old Bob Olley sculpt for Citadel.

It's that classic Bob Olley 'drunk rugby player' Ogre face isn't it? I do prefer them to the obese Mongolian style of the later incarnations.
