I decided it's time for me to have an ongoing Pulp log/thread hereabouts, but bear with me if it doesn't get updated ever so often - I have a habit of spreading myself out too much, like butter on too much bread...
I am making some scatter terrain luggage/baggage bases out of Slug Industries' very nice luggage, and some other pieces I think may be from Fenris (not sure at all).

More about this little sideshow on my blog.
-
You're off to a good start. That's a great set of luggage.
HAVE FUN
-
I may be adding some of the smaller bits and bobs later, but I'm going to use a couple of bases for God of Battles baggage next weekend, so I'm in a bit of a hurry! lol
-
This probably also fits in this category:

Going to use it for a wide array of settings, but I acquired it mainly for use in Pulp/Horror games.

Argonor, who makes the church?

Some work done on some of the luggage
(http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-W3IngXrKCgE/VGkEAo9Sz4I/AAAAAAAACKM/RQnulONgyt0/s1600/2014_11_16-Baggage_Bases-01-600.JPG)
Now I have to find some time for actually painting the stuff, too... ::)
-
That church looks good. I'll have to find one of those.

I would have liked the roof to come off, fr access to the interior, but that would probably have required separating the front of the tower (the section with the cross) from the rest of the front piece. Doable with a razor saw, but a little fiddly.

A bit of work done...

These bases are now ready for Horisont VI (forgot to dust off the trunk):

Thanks! I may go back and add some grass tufts and 'leaves' to the other base after Horisont VI (starting tomorrow evening for exhibitors), but no further modelling/painting is going to happen until then; have to work 7am to 2pm tomorrow, then I have to sort out everything I need to take to the convention so I can load the car and trailer as soon as the wife gets home from work.
Happy times!! :D

I painted this guy for the BoBPC a while ago, and to avoid double posting, here's a pic from the back.

More pics can be found under the label 'Pulp' on my blog.
I also recently purchased these from Hasslefree, to use in a Far East establishment:

I seriously need to get some pulpish games going again!

In the meantime, I have rebased a couple of Pulp minis.

Thanks - they were painted years ago, but only given washer bases now. :)
-
Well worth rebasing!

I found these two among the clutter on my prepping station - now I am finishing the re-basing started way back when.

Soon to be used:

Printed the deck holder (my own design) in an appropriate dark red - Solo Deck with Boosters now easier to use!
-
I made a 3x3 desert mat.
This had two purposes:
- I wanted to test the method before making a full 6x3 mat for Star Wars Legion
- I wanted a 3x3 mat for Pulp Alley amd other skirmish games
Thus, I experimented with several colours on this, which is why there are 'patches' breaking up the surface (which is nice, so I shall have to mimic the approach for the big one).

Great thread. Very well painted but that trunk is great.
Do you have any pics of the quadrangle house with minis for scale?

Thanks, if I remember correctly, the luggage pieces are made by 6milPhil

Ah, no, as it turned out, the model is far too small for 28mm models - might fit 15mm, but I never assembled it (actually found it yesterday, and thought it might be a nice joint project for my daughters and me; I might even be able to use the pieces to design something printable from... ;D
-
Is it the same as this one?
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Wooden-DIY-3D-Puzzle-World-Style-Architecture-Series-Chinese-Children-Gift-Kids/292698270710?var=591493962846&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIM.MBE%26ao%3D2%26asc%3D52543%26meid%3Da9d4b3bebab443a2baa03d1aecb9b776%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D5%26rkt%3D12%26sd%3D173094830328%26itm%3D591493962846&_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851
It says the dimensions are L20 * W34 * H9CM, which seem ok when I tried to judge how big the main gate was. Pre-coloured as well, maybe it's just too good, lol.
-
Looks like the exact same model, just coloured.
The main gate doorway is 20 mm high, most other doors ans archways 15-17 mm, so probably a nice fit for 15 mm minis.
And forget about the idea of making it printable - it has WAY too many fiddly parts (and I haven't got the faintest idea how to assemble it).
-
Am working on covering a 3x3 mat in jungle

Finished my second batch of jungle bases.

Next up will be some 3D-printed large rainforest/Endor/redwood trees, but not until I have painted some of the minis queueing up on my paint(t) station...
-
Looks great!
-
Thanks, I am looking forward to actually using them ;D
