Title: Source for Subway/Underground cars?
Post by: SBRPearce on December 04, 2015, 03:43:39 PM: As part of a 28mm Urban Skirmish project that's percolating in my mind, I'm seeking a source for modern light rail cars or something that could be made to act as such. I'm googling like mad, but perhaps the aficionados here might have some suggestions?

Have a look at Underground Ernie tube trains by Bachmann (OOP since 2009): http://www.modelrailforum.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=1569
They run on standard HO/OO gauge tracks, but are big enough for 28mm - rather basic models that need a bit of conversion...
I still have some intended for that purpose, but not started on them yet. I could spare some...

I contacted Troll Trader recently, asking how easy it would be to convert that ttcombat monorail car to fit their regular Malifaux train tracks. They said it'd be a decent fit, but that it was such a good idea they're going to make a regular subway version of the train soon!
