I just published a free, downloadable supplement for Combat Patrol(TM): World War II rules. You can download the supplement at the rules' Web page (http://"http://www.bucksurdu.com/Buck_Surdu/Combat_Patrol.html") (http://www.bucksurdu.com/Buck_Surdu/Combat_Patrol.html (http://"http://www.bucksurdu.com/Buck_Surdu/Combat_Patrol.html")) or from the Sally 4th Web page (http://"http://wargamesbuildings.co.uk/Combat-Patrol") (http://wargamesbuildings.co.uk/Combat-Patrol (http://"http://wargamesbuildings.co.uk/Combat-Patrol")). This supplement does not attempt to grow or contradict the emerging back story for the winter of 1979 civil war / strive around 1979 in which the Soviets provide troops and equipment to support a revolution in the UK. The supplement includes order of battle information, optional rules that provide period feel, and data for Cold War equipment and weapons. Enjoy the supplement.

Yesterday, Lewis and I had a great game set in the alternative timeline of the winter of '79.

The scenario saw Welsh Liberation Force (WLF) revoloutionaries attempting an arms drop by transit van in the car park of a quiet public house on the borders.

Government forces had already been dispatched to the town to clear road blocks and bring the town back under establishment control.

Lewis and I had a great afternoon playing this and it really showed of the versatility of the Combat Patrol rules system.
