Gringo40s have just released the first offering from our New Robot Wars
range..under the banner of NDF ..near distant future in 28mm this massive
range will encompass all things Robot/Android wise . the first release is our initial offering to be followed by many more

No we have given up on it.
So dark in there in 2014 it spoiled the day for me, spending my £s on a trip up to Carronade again in May.
Plus it is so far out of the city it is a bit of a jaunt for the ladies every time, likewise for Dave and myself if we stopped in the city.

I really like what I've seen so far. :)
I know people tend to innundate manufacturers with requests and queries as they announce a new range, and I swore I woulkd never be "that guy", but...
I don't suppose there's any chance of anything that bears a passing resemblance to Atomic Robo, from the comic of the same name?
Sorry. Been trying to think of how to convert one for ages, and realised that it would be so much easier on my thumbs and self esteem if I didn't have to... :(

i know they're stated at 28mm, but the blue one is slightly smaller. Coul you tell me th size?? i'm looking for real 25mm miniatures, and the sculpt is really cool. o_o o_o o_o

to be small,suprised and vunerable!! :o the three form part of a vignette

Couldn't believe it when I heard Gringos was producing....Robots!!!!!
I know Ged always suprises us with new releases. but Sci-Fi?!!
Well, having seen them I'm amazed. How great they look Ged - just s good standard as your Historical ranges. Great sculpts and I can't wait to see them painted.
look forward to seeing ALL your ranges (and hopefully some painted robots) at Salute.

Love these! Would be great to see more unarmed, worker type robots. ( my sci-fi world has thinking robots following the 4 Laws of Robotics, and only combat drones are allowed weapons).

Very reasonable prices there, he says after shelling out 50% more for Rogue Stars bots.
Off topic a bit, is the Triginta range a reference to something I'm not getting? Aside from Latin 30, that is. I get that from the XXX thing, mostly because we used to have an adult book store in town at 30 Somewhere-or-other Avenue. Tempted to grab the komodo dragons to do a Jonny Quest homage, regardless.

We interrupt this thread for an unsolicited testimonial.
While 2017/2018 are the years of losing some 25/28mm figures and only buying 15/18mm or smaller I did want to compliment your work. Quite a wide and well sculpted collection of figures on your website.
I still have Zorro and the Presidials in my collection just because I like the figures.
Everything you do is quite amazing.
The robots are quite nice additions to your lines of figures.
Back to your regular programming...

I just don't get it. I'm so used to Gringos doing historical stuff, when I came across the Robot range I was completely surprised. Amazing how Gringos covers so many varieties and ranges. I wouldn't normally look at this kind of subject, but knowing how good the Historical sculpts are, I took a peep. Wow. I wasn't disappointed. The sculpts are really good and of the usul quality we've come to expect from Gringos. Well done.

Great stuff Gringo,
I have just built 20 GW Skitarii , lovely minis with lots of detail.
Being an addict scratchbuilder I am going to build me a robot like torso + legs so as to use the remaining heads & arms.
So this could also be a good idea / opportunity for you , make armless / headless minis using the ones you have already done for scratchbuilders. They would be cheaper, lighter & appeal to quite a number of gamers.
You can always make a poll to gauge the responce.
Oh & that robo dog would make a great addition to an Adeptus Arbites Killteam / Necromunda Patrol , which I am sure will eventually come out. Judge Dredd will not be left out !!!

Black suits them well. I would have never thought of that as we are used, thanks to Terminator to metallic ones....
Hmmm have to experiment with metallic black or very dark gun metal.
