General remark on this round: great pairings, several times I had to make hard choices because painting quality was not the issue an I had to make my choice on matters of style, specialty, colour, taste and daring. Makes it more subjective, but asks more questions about what is quality beyond mere artisanship and steadiness of hand. When I made my choice it often was a close call (24-24, 23-24, 23-25 etc.), which seems to confirm this.
Great round! :)

Yes, tell us please! And the source for her young ones as well?

The Cocklegriff and the grifflings are all from Warploque miniatures, although I'm not sure these particular sculpts are available anymore , though there are definitely new versions
-
New one is more menacing but not that lovely cool :(

Great entry, Mr Tough Guy! I love the grifflings! I got a few of them from the Arcworlde KS... just need to paint them up.
I will give a bonus thumbs-up to whoever can best guess which real-world fish I used as inspiration for my deep ones (aside from the big guy... his paintjob was just imagined).

Excellent choice of miniatures, Timbor :D
(They're great aren't they? They didn't have them all in stock when I ordered, so you've got a couple there that I really wanted >:( ;) ;)
Great wild fowl, Mr Tough Guy :)

Thanks, Love the paintjob you did on the fishmen, they look very natural, looks like I'm not the only one that did a bit of research in the animal kingdom for their paintschemes :D
Although I couldn't name most of them, some of them certainly look familiar, but my knowledge of fish seems to be a bit lacking ???

The animal kingdom sure has lots for inspiration!
I tried to make the fishmen look like the following: Top row, left to right: Chalk Basslet, Alligator Gar, Barracuda. Bottom row, left to right: yellowheaded jawfish, weedy scorpionfish, pirhana. As mentioned, the big guy was just from my own imagination!
