This is a round designed to stress Jimbibbly! lol
Both are great entries - well done chaps. :-*
-
Very difficult choice. Both painted great but the theme is so different.
Love your photo Michi! The walker is impressive.

Lovely woodland backdrop, Captain Blood. Where are the trees from? And what colours did you use to paint / drybrush them?
-
Thanks Charlie_. They are Woodland Scenics bulk do-it-yourself trees. Plastic, twistable armatures with clump foliage. Brown plastic, dry-brushed with a bit of light grey, that's all :)
See page 7 of my 'Quite a big terrain project' thread here: http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=12619.90 For details of WS trees...
Michi - lovely Imperial Stormtroopers. They look better in a natural setting than on board a starship, IMHO :)

Not at all :D
Cracking work lads, just the right inspiration for both projects 8)

Both are incredibly well done! The colors and the face of the commander on Whispering Wood are perfection. Michi, your whites and shading of them are amazing -- and how you faded your background force. Wow! It is a shame either of these entries have to lose because they are both cinematic and gorgeous... :o
I've enjoyed both of your entries all during the league -- thanks for the show and giving me a standard to aspire to...!
