Hello all. This is my first post. There are so many great projects here! I got fired up again.
Been a while since I did any terrain and I'm already realizing what I'd forgot. The next should be easier.
This is Tumbledown Keep. Meant for use with any fantasy and some historics. We needed elevation for things like frostgrave and the like but Im not building a whole new city board for that so the outskirts will have to do.

It does, indeed.

I hope that you have not stuck the scaffold down yet, as that is going to be a bugger to work around.
It certainly looks very good, either way.
;)

I really like that, you nailed the "tumbledown" aspect. 8)

Thanks for the interest. Painting's done! @Mason; I glued 'em down. I knew better but I'm not the most disciplined builder. I paid for it.

Looks great 8)
Maybe a bit more weathering on the stonework would do?
cheers

Agreed jimbibby. Thanks. Still figuring this camera out too. Not actually better pics and they're still too big.

The tower looks ace, it will be a great addition to your games.
-
Very cool, and most importantly - very useful.
-
It has come out really well.
Especially as you must have had to poke around with the brush a bit.
:-* :-*
Bibbles is right about a little weathering.
Another way to add a bit more realism is to pick out the odd stone here and there with a thin brownish wash, so that the stonework has a few darker stones.
Also drybrush a very light grey on a few, so the tower looks less uniform in colour.
This is a good example...

It need not take long and will be worth the effort, I reckon.

The Tower lived up to it's potential...I love the ivy & the base is TERRIFIC. SPLENDID WORK!
Terrain in never actually done. There is always some little thing to add or tweak...it's one of the more enjoyable aspects of the Beasty.
