Hi all,
We finally started playing games of Legends of the Old West last night. It was great fun. Here's a few photos. If you want to see all of the photos with commentary, it's all at http://geektactica.blogspot.com/2009/02/blog-post.html
Enjoy,
JET

Great looking town you have there Jet. Are those the buildings you showed in the step by step? If so they painted up brilliantly. Look forward to seeing more of the town. :)

Yep, those are all cardboard buildings using my simple techniques. I have a hotel primed and readu to paint, and all the pieces cut out for a restaurant with attached kitchen.

Great photos , not realy my period , who's are the figures ?

I've been watching you progress on this project on your blog...great stuff! The write-up you did for the pics is really well done too. Thanks for sharing and expand that town!

Excellent buildings, Jet, and those models are nice too! Looks like a good time was had by all. Even more motivation for me to get my posses painted and get a few of the local gamers interested in an intro game. Oh, I need some buildings too, so I'll be taking inspiration from yours, Jet, and from all the other great buildings on the forum.

Nice painted figs from Artizan! :-*

Great looking game. :-*
Very good write up.
Should have been a news paper man. Working for the Assumption Gazette. lol
Another one of those posts that gets me thinking about what I would need to start that period. Which I can't afford :'(

Thanks for the feedback everyone. We'll actually be playing at a gaming convention of sorts this weekend. I live in a small city, and events of this kind are so rare as to be non-occurring. I'll take lots of photos. We're planning on setting up a 6x4 table and laying out as Assumption and the surrounding wilderness.
who's are the figures ?
Both my and Marc's collections and made up exclusively of Foundry and Artizan models. Both ranges are second to none, and painting them is a real treat. They were all obviously sculpted by people who paint themselves.
Thanks for sharing and expand that town!
I have Hotel built and primed, the pieces cut out for a cafe, and plans to do a batch of outhouses and small outbuildings.
Should have been a news paper man. Working for the Assumption Gazette.
Now that's an idea. I'll have to add that to the second wave of buildings.

Well guys,
We played a bunch of games today, and I took photos during the first two. Then my camera died :'( . Anyhoo, the rest of the photos, with commentary, can be found on the site - http://geektactica.blogspot.com/2009/02/wonderful-day-of-geeking.html
Enjoy,
