Knuckleduster do almost exclusively historical figures and most of the cast from Tombstone (early 90's).

They also have an excellent John Wayne, a Bass Reeves figure, etc.

Great movie, btw.
Gordon Studios have many great movie characters including the 7. Fair warning IMHO that Reaper mini is huge. Reaper is great but their scale is all over the place.

That's a fair point, but on the other hand, Clint Eastwood is 6' 4" so he is a lot taller than the average man and so I'm not too bothered that the figure is overscale.

Monday Knight Productions are old school, but their Old West Desperado line includes many well known and recognizable characters. They're 'big' 25mm figs, mix well enough with standard 28s (but not 32s) and paint up well:

Thanks for all the help!!

I just purchased FISTFUL OF LEAD and want to try it out.     I also want to take a look at Dead Mans Hand. But based on reviews- FoL fits my playstyle better. I just want some simple rules without alot of book keeping.

Brigade Games makes some great models that might resemble the cast of Tombstone, Deadwood, and others.

Never watched Deadwood.  Maybe I should.  Seen Tombstone,  Kurt Russell.

That reminds me that they do near perfect 28mm scale versions of the five central characters from the film, "The Wild Bunch." I recently reviewed them on my blog here -

That Wild Bunch set looks great with paint on them!  I picked up a couple of the Deadwood sets but I'd like to get my hands on the Wild Bunch now too.

Sadly not that I've found. That's one of those classic westerns I can't believe has never gotten some 28mm love.

I think that makes a very useful topic to continue with, so I'll make it sticky!

Thanks, Bloodaxe and all contributors for your input!  :)

Blackwater gulch ran a kickstarter a few years back. It included some miniatures based on movies. Including a nice Clint Eastwood.  Not sure how easy they can be bought.

That's a great idea. Maybe someone can compile all the findings and links into one post so everything is easier to use and find.

Looking for Blazing Saddles?  Knuckleduster will soon have you covered.

Go check out their stretch goals from their kickstarter, (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1985631043/gunfighters-ball-wild-west-miniatures-game) several BS figures.  Check out other figures from the line, you'll see lots of famous movie look-alikes as well.  Should be available to purchase on his site soon.

Thanks for the reference to Blackwater Gulch Miniatures and their KS, Za Zjurman.  I had not seen them before. Looks like they are available here:

I think I will put in a small(ish) order and see how it goes.

Didn't see answers in the messages, so I'll ask - any suggestions for:
The Magnificent Seven Yul and the gang plus Calvera
The Sacketts - the brothers, Ben Johnson's character, Tom Candy, the opposing force from the closing shootout (Bigalow Brothers plus the punk troublemaker)
Appaloosa Cole & Hitch, the Jeremy Irons character and his ramrod, maybe the gunmen who helped spring Irons
Lone Ranger and Tonto
Josh Randal - Wanted Dead or Alive
Paladin- both his gunslinger and his gambler outfits
Cheyenne - Clint Walker
Wyatt Earp - the Hugh O'Brian TV version

I'm sure I have others,,,these are just the ones off the top of my head.

Also a question.  May be more trouble than it is worth but is there any interest in a publicly available reference / spreadsheet sort of listing matching character - TV or movie source  - company(s) and approx scale?

Thanks.

Artizan at Northstar do one.  Originally a freebie I think with some rules.  Now available as part of the Legends of the Old West pack, along with Crockett, Billy the Kid and Custer

Dead Man's Hand have quite a few TV, Movie and Real Life characters

https://www.northstarfigures.com/list.php?man=58&cat=363&sub=523&page=1 (https://www.northstarfigures.com/list.php?man=58&cat=363&sub=523&page=1)

In the Lawmen posse, they have a Hell On Wheels Bohannon, Everitt Hitch from Appaloosa Series and Val Kilmer's Doc Holliday.
In The Outlaw posse, they have 3:10 to Yuma's Charlie Prince.
I'm sure in both sets you could attribute the figures to other movies or tv that I'm not familiar with.

They also have singles like Jonah Hex

Knuckleduster’s personality figures are amazing!  I recently painted Henry Fonda and Charles Bronson from Once Upon a time in the West, along with Clint Eastwood.  The detail is incredible.

Are there any models/proxies for the Cartwright family from Bonanza? Namely, Ben, Joe, Adam and Hoss.

Also, what about the Cannon family from The High Chaparral?

Knuckleduster Dead Man's Hand does the newer (with Denzel Washington) Magnificent Seven, along with their original Magnificent Seven pack.  And Empress Miniatures does a few movie sets, especially Open Range - the Kevin Cosnter and Robert Duval figs, and the Baxter Boys (even the guy with his arm in a sling...).

(Edit:  My bad.  I meant Dead Man's Hand in this original post.  As you can see, I changed it.  Sorry...)
