A sword and buckler man from The Assault Group's Renaissance Spanish range of figures.
-
Lovely - the padded jack is particularly good 8)
-
What Captain Blood said! I have a pack or two of those figures but have not painted any yet. Your fellow certain is an excellent advertisement for the range.
-Michael
-
Well done!
-
Excellent.
-
Thanks for the comments. Here's another from the same pack.
-
Both figures look outstanding.
Do plan to use them around the 1500 period?
-
Quite useful as either conquistadors or troops of The Great Captain (Gonzalvo de Cordoba) in Italy. Excellent work on both.
-
Yep, that second figure looks very good, too!
-
another one from the same pack...
-
Both figures look outstanding.

To be honest I'm just painting them up for eBay.
I stick to 15mm for myself , any 28s that I paint always end up in someone else's hands. :-)
-
I am always impressed by stripey-legs on figures.
Can you do that with your 15mm? Yikes.
-Michael
-
That is some painting - my favourite is the first figure. Some nice inspiration for my Spanish project later in the year.
-
Great stuff. Especially the second chap. :)
-
Last of the pack..

A Cossack from TAG's Renaissance range.
-
Very nice sculpt! Awesome painting, especially the eyes! Could be Taras Bulba himself!
-
Superb painting Steve , you've really captured the essence of the character. Reminds me of that dodgy cossack rebellion film that I watched on You-Tube the other week.
-
Excellent! I had not seen that figure before - I like him!
-Michael

Wonderful attention to detail and incredible colouring.
I have a sneaking suspicion that some people are using 3-ups and passing them off as 15's and I'm clinging onto that hope as I fear I'll never get this good.
Oh, one thing....one the left looks like he's got his old man dangling in the wind lol.
-
Superb - especially considering they are 15mm :o

Top notch landsknechts! The command group especially.
