Amazing table and a most impressive amount of models.

Where did you get those lovely Egyptians?

Not such a small tussle by the look of it, and very impressive indeed. And 2-0 to the Mahdi?  I'm sure the Dirty Half-Hundred will get them next time!

Everything is from Perrys, apart from a Fred Burnaby figure by Warlord who arrived with the Blood on the Nile rulebook.
wow looks brilliant...how big's your shed ?

Not big enough!  :D The table is 5ft x 12ft, it would have benefited from being another foot wider, but then we would all have to be built like stick insects to squeeze down the sides  lol  There just enough room to fit some display cabinets at either end and down one side. Hopefully one day I will be able to erect V2 which I'm planning on being around 20ft x 12ft. I did consider a portacabin instead for a while but decided it wasn't wide enough.
There's around 2000 28mm SYW in the cabinets. I'm trying to work out how I can squeeze them on the table and still have room left for some terrain at the moment. o_o

Thank you sir, I am an admirer of your handiwork! I haven't the skill to take such good photos as you stage I think. It was seeing your pics on here that made me take these photos and finally get round to putting them up.
Yes it's the Tiny desert one with added shoreline. Cost about £175 IIRC.

I think my units duplicate yours virtually, except I don't have quite so many ansar.  :D It would certainly require a VERY large table that's for sure. lol It would be good to have a big bash, one day perhaps.........

I didn't realise that you were running the beautiful Sudan game at Hammerhead, otherwise I'd have stopped and made myself known. I'll be at Partizan, and I see from your blog that you are performing there again, so this time I will definitely drop in and say 'ow do.

We have to feed the Mahdists on gradually as they won't all fit on at once without it becoming a huge logjam! It helps if a few are obligingly wiped out by the British to make room for the rest.  :D The bases are vallejo Red Leather base with Iraqi Sand and ivory or offwhite to highlight. Unfortunately, the mat is more Dark Sand in tone, if I'd bought the mat before I started painting everything I'd have used Dark Sand instead. The OCD in me finds it mildly irritating.  :-[
