horrid AoS28
« on: May 02, 2017, 03:40:25 AM »
I've been following AoS28 along with watching the Inq28 community for a comparatively short while.  I had my fill of Warhammer before I got burned out by full on 40k and hate a severe hatred of square bases because trying to rank up models I would have preferred to pose more dynamically always ruined my fun.  I recently became interested when a friend pointed me to the AoS28 groups out there and was really excited by the incredible models people were making there.  I still haven't given much thought to the rules and there is a set adapted for skirmish games a community member developed called Hinterlands that sounds really cool so I thought I would try to make some fun themed models and worry about trying to fit them into games after the fact.  I have been Slagrote and his Serwer Horse on and off for about a month and an now ready to put some paint on him.  This thread will be a repository for any Warhammer fantasy styled projects I work at.

Now that conversion is the product of a twisted mind...I really like and can't wait to see more.

Brilliant!

Arguments about the name of AoS28 aside, some of the lovely models being produced are helping me to get over the loss of the Old World.

Lovely conversion work and your concept sketches are pretty good too.

@ von Lucky

You must mean the string of incomplete projects :D .  I will come back to this one at some point; Or something similar.  I managed to paint around 30 AoS figures for my deathrattle army  so I may still muster and army the dead.

The other possibility is that you may have figured out my filing system.  Since I drop and change up projects frequently I try to put horrid in every subject heading.  If I forget about what I had on the go I can use the search function and LA will remind me what I have on the go :D .  Sometimes when I look at what I have neglected I almost feel guilty but then i think about the new shiny stuff I'm working at and don't feel so bad :D .

Never feel guilty - the butterfly effect is one many of us follow. It works for me.
